Anchored Privacy

Terms of Service

Effective 12 October 2026. Plain language where we can.

These terms apply when you use Anchored Privacy, a service of Anchored Privacy (Pty) Ltd (registration no. 2026/504322/07, South Africa). By signing up you agree to them.

Plans

Both plans are monthly subscriptions, billed in South African rand through PayFast.

Cancellation and refunds

Using the service

Use Anchored Privacy lawfully. Don't use it to break the law, harm others, or attack or abuse networks and services. Each profile is for your own use, and the number of profiles depends on your plan. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. TODO: confirm acceptable-use wording and any fair-use limits

What we promise, and what we can't

We work hard to keep the service reliable and secure, and we'll be honest and communicate if something goes wrong. A VPN is one layer of privacy: it doesn't make you anonymous and doesn't protect against phishing or malware. We can't guarantee the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. TODO: have a lawyer review the liability wording

Your information

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and we'll email you about changes that affect you.
